Public Sector

Since 1993, Amatica has been delivering public information and self-service access systems to the public sector. Projects we have delivered include:

  • development of software interfaces for touchscreen applications
  • customer service and one-stop-shop enquiry handling systems
  • client records management systems
  • back office systems integration
  • community web portal systems
  • public access adult learning networks
  • provision and installation of small and large-scale public access kiosk networks

Over 40 local authorities have used Amatica to install and implement public access and self service Internet kiosks as part of their e-Government initiatives.

Within the UK's much valued National Health Service, Amatica has been delivering kiosk information systems to support NHS Direct (183 kiosks located in independent pharmacies and health centres) as well as information systems for NHS mental health trusts to provide support for patients, their families and carers.

On behalf of New Deal for Communities (NDC) projects, local communities and urban regeneration initiatives, Amatica has delivered information systems, client records management and community web portal systems to enable the easy collection and dissemination of information demanded by public funding regimes.

Amatica's wide range of public sector experience means that we can apply examples of best practice to your project, helping you achieve greater effect for your available budget.
