The Requirement

The multi-agency team were responsible for ensuring that vulnerable members of society in each household did not suffer as a consequence through any interruption of social support or entitled benefits. The system needed to be easily updateable, reliable and secure.
The Solution
Amatica designed a web based system that enables the North Huyton project team to record information, monitor progress and access status information on key issues in a prompt and reliable way. Importantly, it provides an audit trail to demonstrate transparency and diligence by the project team. It also helps North Huyton's team to closely manage the project's finances and forecast future and allocated spending as the project progresses.
- The system provides facilities to:
- Capture household information: address and personal details of every resident
- Record details of care packages associated with occupiers and track when these have been transferred to the occupier's new address
- Record details of adaptations required to properties and the associated cost of providing these adaptations
- Record details of valuations of owner occupied properties
- Hold details of the new target address
- Produce reports
Integrity and security of data held within the system is maintained through user administration facilities with associated permissions.
The Outcome
North Huyton's project team have an effective system to administer and co-ordinate the maintenance of support throughout the housing renewal programme.
- Resulting benefits include:
- Full case tracking of residents at address and individual levels
- Full visibility of social care and support needs of individuals
- Ability to attach associated documents to individual records
- Identification of the causes of log-jams in the housing transition process
- Financial management and reporting
- Ability to track progress of each phase of the project
- Transparency and accountability are provided through the system's audit facilities
- Last but not least, the system contributes to reducing the stresses and anxieties of North Huyton residents during the programme of housing relocation
