Mark Sampey, Amatica's business development manager travelled to Essen in Germany earlier this month, to Europe's biggest self-service exhibition - Kiosk Europe Expo. Showcasing the latest in kiosk and self service technology, the 3 day event brings together suppliers, manufacturers and clients from across the globe.

With features including a self service futures parlour, dedicated to showcasing the latest innovations in self service, this year's event attracted more than 150 exhibitors and over 2000 visitors.

For Mark, the event presented an opportunity to review new developments, identify potential partners, meet with a number of clients and business partners and to promote Amatica's services in Europe.

Interviewed at the event in Essen, Mark Sampey said, "As one of the UK's leading kiosk integration specialists, we're constantly on the look-out for new technology to bring to our customers. The kiosk market place in mainland Europe and the US tends to be more advanced than here in the UK, so this event is a perfect opportunity to get a heads-up on the latest products and technology.

"Some of the latest innovations Amatica will be exploring include using kiosks as a WIFI hub, touch screen dialling using VOIP, RFID authentication and self-service and smart card top-up. In addition, this was the ideal opportunity to look at the impact of Windows 7 and IE8 on kiosk developments".
