Secure Intranet and email access for Bedford Hospital
Bedford Hospital NHS Trust has implemented an Amatica kiosk solution to provide nursing staff with access to emails and the hospital Intranet.
The systems are based on small footprint Archer F1 kiosks incorporating LCD screen and robust stainless steel keyboard. Kiosk and network security is provided through a dedicated secure browser wrapper.
A total of four kiosks are being installed by Bedford Hospital located in staff rest rooms and similar environments reserved for staff.
University Hospital Birmingham NHS Trust has implemented a similar system from Amatica with personal magnetic swipe cards providing additional user identification and security.
