40% ERDF funding for Merseyside SME business
Amatica has been awarded 'approved consultant' status for IT services by Greater Merseyside Enterprise, providers of Business Link services to Merseyside. This accreditation means that Amatica is able to access up to 40% European funding on behalf of small and medium sized enterprises for IT projects.
Amatica was selected on the basis of its experience and track record in delivering IT services. It joins the ranks of an elite group of suppliers including Hurst, Enterprise plc, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers offering advice and consultancy on subjects from ICT to marketing and finance. All approved consultants have had to pass through a stringent tendering process before accreditation.
Sue Roberts, Amatica's managing director, says;
"Offering up to a 40% subsidy towards a project allows our Merseyside based clients to access our market leading range of ICT advice and products they may not otherwise be able to afford."
Amatica's first eligible project is for Birkenhead based solicitors RMNJ who have gained 40% funding for an ambitious online property conveyancing and online payment system.
Greater Merseyside Enterprise has been tasked with delivering over £7million of EU funding to support business growth on Merseyside. To achieve this, GME has selected a number of market leading suppliers across Merseyside and further afield to provide business advice to qualifying small and medium enterprises throughout the region.
Funding is provided via Greater Merseyside Enterprise from the European Regional Development Fund as part of Merseyside's European Objective One status.
