West Lancs council purchases additional 5 kiosks
West Lancashire District Council have purchased a further 5 Argent kiosks from Amatica. The order follows the success of the pilot housing information kiosk project implemented in March 2003.
The additional kiosks will be used to widen accessibility to housing information within the West Lancs community and will be located within neighbourhood offices and retail premises.
The Argent kiosks are designed to meet the rigours of public access and comprise of touchscreen and A4 thermal printer. The addition kiosks takes the total number of kiosks in use by West Lancs to nine.
The housing information kiosk project forms a key part of West Lancashire District Council's e-Government strategy.
