Action MultiMedia's financial results buck industry trend
In an uncertain economic climate, a tough market and with increased competition, Action MultiMedia has released encouraging 2002 financial results.
These results show an operating profit of £40,000 before tax and r&d, an improvement on its 2001 profit figures. This is in stark contrast to the many IT companies making losses and the recent demise of three companies specialising in kiosk systems who have been wound up due to the size of their losses.
Commenting on the company's results Bob Mottram, Action MultiMedia's chairman said "These results are very encouraging and demonstrate the strength of our management team and our staff. We have a solid customer base and we concentrate on delivering software development services and kiosk systems which give real value to our customers business and their organisations."
Action MultiMedia now operates under the trading name of Amatica.
