Trent Vale Health Centre in Stoke On Trent, a multicultural health centre and doctors surgery, has installed a 42" plasma screen from Action MultiMedia to help in its drive to improve communications with its patients.

The centre was awarded a grant from the General Performance Fund for 2002/3 to install equipment to assist in communicating with patients regarding health matters and local information. Health visitors and doctors selected a 42" Plasma Screen displaying customised PowerPoint presentations with health content.

Action MultiMedia managed the sourcing of the plasma screen, installation of power and communications to the back office systems as well as installation of the screen. All this was achieved within 3 weeks from the order date in order to meet budget deadlines at the financial year end.

Action MultiMedia was selected as the solution provider following recommendation from within the local council for previous touchscreen kiosk installations.

Action MultiMedia now operates under the trading name of Amatica.
