Payment Gateway opens the way for payment services
Amatica is launching a new Payment Gateway web service to manage single and multiple card payments and credit finance transactions. The deployment is being used to provide an interface and integrated messaging service between Amatica’s insurance platform and our preferred provider of premium finance credit.
The Payment Gateway offers easy integration of multiple and complex payment regimes into existing business applications. “Combining insurance product sales with monthly finance makes the management of payment processes complex and subject to error.” says David Roberts, Amatica’s strategy director. “Aside from just taking the monthly fee, the system must be able to handle refunds in the event of cancellations, transactions made within cooling-off periods, as well as mid-term adjustments and payment defaults.”
The web service architecture used within Amatica’s Payment Gateway delivers a significantly safer integration method as well as reduced risk in comparison with other software integration methods. A standardised transaction method is employed, resulting in faster deployment – a significant advantage for businesses operating in fast moving markets.
Amatica is already enhancing its Payment Gateway solution to include other processes to manage payments that do not require a credit facility, such as those for pension contributions.
The Payment Gateway web service is hosted within Amatica’s existing managed secure hosting infrastructure and uses HTTPS and data encryption to protect sensitive personal and financial information.
For organisations whose systems have to offer multiple payment options, Amatica’s solution could be the answer.
