SharePoint training for City wealth managers
Amatica’s latest SharePoint 2010 intranet development is now well under way for one of its London based wealth management customers. In addition to the development of further facilities within the SharePoint intranet, the latest phase includes a customised training programme for key staff and users.
Participants from several areas of the wealth management business, including HR, finance, IT and compliance, received the training which was completed before Christmas. The training sessions focused on briefing users on the fundamentals of SharePoint’s document management facilities.
The wealth management intranet brings together all of the client’s documentation, policies and procedures into one place, where it can monitor and control the flow and distribution of information and crucially, increase the effectiveness and efficiency of managing compliance with Financial Services Authority (FSA) regulations.
Further developments are planned to introduce more SharePoint facilities, including advanced document management and library features, workflow management and the use of InfoPath and SharePoint’s dashboard capabilities.
Customised training will accompany the roll out of these advanced SharePoint intranet facilities.
