Partnership launches new choice based lettings solution
A strategic partnership between Amatica and Liverpool-based 2020 Design is delivering a new and powerful choice based lettings solution to meet the needs of local authorities and housing associations.
The combination of 2020 Design's choice based lettings software and Amatica's leading self-service kiosk solutions delivers improved efficiencies and reduced workload for social housing providers and their partners. For tenants, the solution offers greater access and choice as well as improved access for those without internet access, enabling them to take advantage of online bidding.
With government’s 2010 target for choice based lettings on the horizon, this new integrated solution will enable local authorities, ALMOs, RSLs and housing associations to meet the deadline.
The choice based lettings solution's property-matching engine takes taking account of individual landlords' allocations criteria and variations in local lettings policies. The web front-end enables prospective tenants to login, register, search for a home, bid and view recent lettings.
Already in use at a consortium of housing associations in the North West of England, the Choice Based Lettings solution is acknowledged to have increased efficiency and made significant service improvements. It can be integrated with existing housing and property management systems and includes facilities to manage applicant and property details, create adverts, and publish results of bidding, to ensure transparency.
