State of the art leisure centre gets wireless kiosk
The new Etwall Leisure Centre in Derby will boast state of the art sports and recreation facilities when it opens to the public this month.
Amatica is redeploying one of South Derbyshire’s self-service kiosks to the Etwall Leisure centre, where it will offer visitors access to council services.
In order to make the kiosk as flexible as possible, a wireless router has been installed. With no physical connections, the wireless kiosk is highly adaptable. It can be moved to any location to maximise use, without interruption to the service.
One of a network of 18 kiosks across Staffordshire and Derbyshire, the kiosk will provide visitors to Etwall with access to a range of online services and information, including South Derbyshire council’s website, housing services and benefits information.
