Bristol based savings and healthcare mutual society National Friendly have engaged Amatica as consultants to provide advice in establishing new software development standards.

In order to meet growth plans and increasing volumes of business, particularly from its unique Healthcare Deposit Account and related products, National Friendly wish to establish a robust framework of  development standards and version control procedures. The development standards will apply to its Microsoft .Net software developments which include internal systems and web-based broker and consumer interfaces.

With significant experience of developing software and web applications for the financial services sector, Amatica was chosen for its experience of applying best practice software architectural and coding standards as well as its exposure to different .Net development methods and version control systems.

Based close to Brunel's famous Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol, National Friendly was established in 1868 and is the new name of National Deposit Friendly Society.
