Amatica launches new website

Amatica has used a completely new version of its Proximity content management solution to power and deliver its new website. The new website launched on 1st June and has involved a completely new graphic and interactive design.

The new website encompasses a range of new facilities that include a masthead graphic carousel, facilities to access client project case studies and pdf downloads as well more accessible information on the range of Amatica's services and products. The only content migrated directly from the previous website cover the news items and kiosk products with over 75% of graphics and 95% of copy being completely new. Amatica's dedicated kiosk website has been retired as the new website encapsulates the full range services that range from business and integration solutions, website design, self service kiosks, remote monitoring and fully managed hosting.

Underpinning the new Amatica website is Proximity CMS. It encompasses a range of new features including increased and more powerful content publishing facilities as well as inbuilt support for URL replacement that is essential for search engine optimisation (SEO) of databased content. In addition, Proximity CMS supports SQL database replication, an essential requirement for enterprise level and mission critical websites that require high levels of resilience and fail-over and are hosted across multiple servers and locations.

"Implementing a new website for Amatica is no different to undertaking one for a client. There is the same analysis, card sorting, environment design, copywriting, build, quality and hosting activities involved." said Amatica's marketing director David Roberts. "The old website was coming up to its fourth year and was getting out of step with Amatica's market position. The new Proximity CMS has given us a much better platform for publishing web content whilst keeping one of the old website's most powerful features that is the news database that underpins Amatica's highly regarded email newsletter Impact".

Amatica has been designing and hosting websites for corporate and SME customers since 1995 and is at the forefront of web database integration and W3C standards adoption. Amatica manages two of the most highly rated websites in a league table of financial services institutions.

HARBOUR, Amatica's Suitability Assessment, Reporting and Management solution

We threw a great many challenges their way and their response was fantastic. One of my easiest decisions was to commission Amatica to create the Sagis LLP website
