Amatica completes upgrade for BoSI

As part of its ongoing support for Bank of Scotland International's intranet, Amatica has enhanced the service known as BOSINet with a new feature that enables managers to communicate the performance of key areas of the business to their offshore colleagues.

Keeping colleagues up to date with Bank of Scotland International's performance and achievements is vital towards motivating staff to meet business objectives. The new intranet facility is a key feature towards maintaining the business momentum.

The new facility within Bank of Scotland International's intranet shows, at a glance, business performance against specific targets. Four key areas of the business are displayed as a barometer style graph, which clearly shows the current income levels against quarterly targets. Information is updated weekly and a commentary facility enables business managers to display additional information alongside the summary statistics.

"As the person responsible for internal communications", says Bank of Scotland International's Alison Wearden, "a clear and easy way to maintain and display this information is crucial to leading our colleagues to meet our business objectives. Amatica's interpretation of our requirements was spot on and turned around the new facility really quickly".

BOSI's intranet is based on Amatica's ProXimity content management solution and encompasses a wide range of categorisation and communication tools to bring together Bank of Scotland International's diverse operations and offshore locations in Jersey, Isle of Man and Hong Kong.
