Halifax Estate Agency starts 2009 with Amatica
Halifax Estate Agency has started 2009 by agreeing a new software and services contract with Internet solutions specialist Amatica. The contract to develop the new web based management system will improve Halifax Estate Agency's processes in property management and sales.
Halifax Estate Agency provides corporate clients and mortgage lenders with a range of services to manage properties, from repairs and maintenance to the more usual sales and marketing activities associated with an estate agency business.
Amatica's system will replace one that Halifax has outgrown. In addition, Amatica will provide facilities to both Halifax Estate Agency and its corporate clients, to track and review the progress of managing through to selling of the properties.
With full visibility of the process and changes to a property's status, Halifax will be provided with a detailed record and audit trail of key events, from the initial instruction to estate agents, valuers and security contractors, through to offers received and eventual sale or auction.
Halifax will use the system to view and export information and generate standard letters, instructions, contracts and reminders. Amatica's new system will support multiple concurrent users, allowing data to be updated and shared instantaneously.
The new Halifax Estate Agency system will be hosted within Amatica's securely managed hosting infrastructure.
Halifax Estate Agency is a part of the new Lloyds Banking Group created out of Lloyds TSB's acquisition of Halifax Bank of Scotland. Amatica provide web solutions to a number of financial services organisations including Birmingham Midshires and Bank of Scotland International within the Lloyds Banking group.
