Amatica has announced its continued sponsorship and support for the prestigious Merseyside Innovation Awards 2009. Now in its 12th year, the awards aim to recognise and reward the use of innovation as a means of boosting growth and profitability.

This year's awards ceremony held at Liverpool's Crowne Plaza Hotel, featured a star-studded panel of judges including Radio 4's presenter Evan Davis, entrepreneur Steve Morgan of Bridgemere Group and founder of Redrow builders, Linda McDermott of Radio Merseyside and Steve Sealey of Aquarius Equity Partners. From a final shortlist of three innovative companies, 2D Heat won first prize of £10,000 with their energy efficient, spray-on heating element.

Joining the board of sponsors for 2008/2009 is Paver Smith, Merseyside’s leading public relations and communications agency, so entrants and winners alike can look forward to increased profile from applying!
