WiN website gains Outlook calendar integration and fast video

Amatica has upgraded Wirral Investment Network's website winpartnership.org with two new facilities that improve WiN's event management and communications. WiN's website events diary, one medium through which it publicises its events for members, has been enhanced. Using the latest technology, people browsing the WIN website's events diary can link their chosen event to their Microsoft Outlook calendar.

Ro Murphy, WiN's Vice Chair is enthusiastic of the website enhancements. "We agreed a number of changes to the WiN website with Amatica and they suggested these changes as part of the programme. We're always wishing to improve our communication with WiN members and the new Outlook calendar integration fits the bill."

Having commissioned a video record of the highly successful WiN Business Awards 2008, Wirral Investment Network wished this to be displayed on the WiN website. Having seen the poorly executed and usually unsuccessful attempts of other websites' use of video, WiN's Paula Basnett, was rightly concerned whether this was practical. Amatica's explanation of their optimisation techniques and examples of their use of video in websites convinced her of its practicality.

"Amatica, as usual, have done a fantastic job. The WiN awards are a landmark annual event for Wirral Investment Network and a fantastic testament to the commercial vitality of the Wirral area." said Ro Murphy. "This video is probably the best I've seen and really contributes to broadcasting just what WiN is about. The website video together with the new Outlook integration adds real value to WiN's online communication."

Integration of Outlook calendars can be accessed at winpartnership.org/events/intro.asp. The WiN Business Awards video can be accessed at winpartnership.org/events/awards.asp.
