2D Heat scoops Amatica sponsored Merseyside Innovation Awards
An energy efficient spray-on heating element was last week announced as the annual winner of the 2008 Merseyside Innovation Awards.
In a ceremony at Liverpool's Crowne Plaza Hotel, 2D Heat's innovative energy efficient heating element was last week crowned annual winner of the 2008 Merseyside Innovation Awards. Judges listened to presentations from the three finalists - Honey Sport, 2D Heat and Acal Energy - and then chose 2D Heat as the overall winner.
The finalists were selected from the monthly winners over the past 12 months. 2D Heat will receive £10,000 and £4,000 in business support.
Managing director John Lewis said: "The value of the publicity and prestige from the Merseyside Innovation Awards cannot be under-estimated for a small company like ourselves."
