Amatica enhances Bank of Scotland International offshore Intranet
Following Amatica's successful implementation of Bank of Scotland International's corporate Intranet in June 2006, Amatica has completed a number of enhancements to Bank of Scotland International's Intranet system. The changes have been introduced as a result of recent changes to Bank of Scotland International's organisation and the appointment of a dedicated internal communications manager.
The Intranet system serves Bank of Scotland International's offices and 250 staff located on the offshore islands of Jersey, Hong Kong and Isle of Man.
Alison Wearden, Bank of Scotland International's internal communications manager who commissioned the enhancements said "With staff located in three offshore locations, there are challenges in communicating corporate values and identity. Being part of HBoS means that we have access to the HBoS group Intranet, however, it's easy for Bank of Scotland International to become lost within the overall size and scale of HBoS' Intranet.
"It was a new role for me and my first exposure to working on an Internet related project. Despite this, I found Amatica really easy to work with."
Amatica designed and built Bank of Scotland International's Intranet service using its ProXimity content management suite in June 2006. These latest enhancements build on the facilities and features within the original Intranet deployment.
