Pilkington Glass chooses Etcetera SKMS to increase knowledge management accessibility
World class glass technology and manufacturers Pilkington have implemented Action MultiMedia's service and knowledge management system Etcetera SKMS.
Etcetera SKMS provides facilities enabling Internet and Intranet users to access accurate information stored within data, document and information repositories.
Etcetera SKMS complements Pilkington's existing 'KnowledgeBase' intranet system which has been a co-development between Pilkington and Action MultiMedia. The 'KnowledgeBase' contains a rich source of information on glass technology and float glass manufacturing processes and is available across Pilkington's world-wide locations.
Action MultiMedia's Etcetera SKMS used by a number of organisations including Shepway District Council to improve customer service within its One-Stop-Shops and Greater Merseyside Enterprise.
Action MultiMedia now operates under the trading name of Amatica.
