Amatica re-launches managed Internet hosting services

Amatica has re-launched its fully managed hosting services, offering greater flexibility for organisations looking to outsource their Internet hosting. Under the restructured service, Amatica has enhanced the specification of its managed hosting services and in some instances has reduced the cost to customers.

The hosting services have been packaged to meet the needs of small and medium sized enterprises, large corporate businesses and government. In particular it has enhanced its services to attract new customers'  who run mission critical systems handling millions of pounds in transactions every day.

Amatica has bundled its managed hosting offerings into three service packages: SME Class, Business Class and Enterprise Class. SME Class is aimed at small and medium sized enterprises with brochureware websites who operate to tight budgets. Business Class is configured for organisations who require high levels of service resilience for websites and eCommerce services. Enterprise Class is for organisations running mission critical web services demanding total resilience across server centre locations, hardware, network and telecommunications backbone.

"We've redesigned our service in the light of customer feedback as well as technology advances which mean that costs can be reduced" says Kevin Lawrence, Amatica's technical services manager. "Our investment in new technology means that we can offer even higher levels of service resilience to small organisations who operate on very tight budgets. For large customers, such as those in financial services, Amatica can now offer unprecedented levels of resilience and automated failover".

For those customers with very specific or complex requirements, Amatica offers a consultancy service to advise and help design and specify hosting infrastructures. Amatica can even integrate its service to extend the resilience and automated failover for customers who use internal IT departments to host their Internet services.
