db Mortgages, the specialist lending arm of Deutsche Bank went live on Monday 11th June with a new online service for mortgage intermediaries. The new Internet service enables mortgage brokers and packagers to service lending applications through to completion. Amatica has developed the online facilities which integrate with Vertex's Omiga back office mortgage processing system.

Amatica developed the online service and back-office systems integration as part of an overall 5 year, £45m business process outsourcing (BPO) deal between Vertex and Deutsche Bank. Working closely with Vertex's Omiga software and service delivery team, Amatica deployed its ProXimity content management suite and co-developed the web services using Microsoft's .NET software development tools.

Amatica fielded a team of experienced software designers and developers led by a dedicated project manager for this demanding and prestigious project. The contract with Vertex follows Amatica's award winning work for BM Solutions, Halifax Bank of Scotland's leading online mortgage intermediary service.
