Bedford Council upgrades kiosk access for improved self-service
Bedford Borough Council has commissioned Amatica to upgrade the council's kiosk access to improve services for local citizens. The work follows on from the previous five kiosks and associated services provided by Amatica to Bedford Council.
Amatica has upgraded the kiosk service with keyboard access to remove the need for on-screen keyboards, which can present difficulties for many public users. In addition, Amatica has also developed a portal interface to the council's website, improving online access for citizens .
"Bedford Council is an Amatica customer of long-standing" says Mark Sampey, Amatica's manager responsible for public sector customers. "For Amatica, looking after our past and existing customers is equally as important as winning new ones".
