Action MultiMedia sponsors Merseyside Innovation Awards

Action MultiMedia has developed and implemented a website dedicated to the Merseyside Innovation Awards.

The search for the next Thomas Edison or Trevor Bayliss got under way in Liverpool early this year. The Merseyside Innovation Awards, which are now in their sixth year, aim to recognise and reward the use of innovation as a means of boosting growth and profitability. Action MultiMedia is proud to be a sponsor of this year's awards and as a contribution, has produced the Merseyside Innovation Awards website.

With a top prize of £14,000, the competition is open to individuals and companies with less than 50 employees based within the Daily Post and BBC Radio Merseyside catchment area of Merseyside, West Cheshire and North Wales. In addition, Liverpool City Council are sponsoring a supplementary award for the most innovative IT entry.

Brian McCann of solicitors Hurst & Co., award organisers said "Innovation is thriving in Merseyside - what we want to do is nurture it and provide the physical means for people to realise the commercial potential of their product.
"These awards are not only growing in stature but are having a significant impact on people's lives. We're confident that this year our awards will once again unearth a wealth of hidden talent."

The website provides information on the awards as well as advice on applying and online application forms.

The website address is www.merseysideinnovationawards.co.uk
