Amatica has embarked on a major new initiative by offering its tried and tested expertise in Straight-Through Processing (STP) to customers in the financial services sector.

The initiative follows the success of a number of projects it has delivered into the financial services sector, including portals and self-service solutions for independent mortgage advisors, portals for commercial and consumer insurance brokers and an online conveyancing with integrated electronic payments service. Amatica is in the final stages of delivery of a significant STP project to implement a flagship online mortgage intermediary service.

Commenting on the initiative, Amatica's director of strategy David Roberts said "Amatica has been active in the mortgage lending business since 1999. The success of recent projects makes Amatica an even stronger contender in the financial services market with its STP offering. We've worked on two major projects in the secured and mortgage lending sector and we understand how mortgage lending business works. And we're independently accredited with delivering some of the highest performing websites in the banking sector."

Amatica is extending its service to other sectors of the financial services market with its expertise in Straight-Through Processing. Detailed discussions have already started with a number of financial services companies where Amatica's STP experience can create large returns on investment. They operate in areas such as fund and investment management, commercial insurance and debt management as well as secured lending.

Amatica includes organisations such as Birmingham Midshires, Bank of Scotland International, London Scottish Mortgages and Halifax Bank of Scotland Group (HBoS) amongst its customers.
