Intranet goes offshore with Bank of Scotland International

Bank of Scotland International (BoSI) is the latest organisation to benefit from using Amatica's ProXimity content management suite.

ProXimity is being used to deliver the offshore bank's intranet service to BoSI’s 225 staff based in the Isle of Man, Jersey and Hong Kong, providing a central location where all staff are able to access critical information, documents and corporate and industry news.

ProXimity has enabled BoSI users to keep intranet content fresh and current without the need for more expensive and inflexible content management systems. It has enabled the project’s tight timescales to be met, as well as enabling far greater functionality to be delivered than would otherwise have been possible.

ProXimity’s simplicity and ease of use has enabled BoSINet to be rolled out across the entire organisation with minimal training. Its functionality and flexibility has encouraged take-up and acceptance amongst BoSI employees.

Kevin Spicer, Bank of Scotland International’s offshore project manager, managed the project for BoSI. Spicer commented, “Amatica helped us refined the business requirements and worked with our IT department to ensure technical compatibility. With an elapsed time of only thirteen weeks between the project’s start to completion and go live, Amatica delivered a fully operational intranet system which will serve Bank of Scotland International’s offshore business.”

What also impressed was the speed in which this project was started and then through to its launch date - all done with exceptional quality and care.
