Birmingham Midshires' market leading mortgage intermediary portal www.bmsolutions.co.uk has been shortlisted for this year's Financial Sector Technology Awards under the Best Use of Business to Business Ecommerce category.

BM Solutions provides mortgage intermediaries with access to mortgage products, a decision in principle to lend as well as application processing and case management. BM Solutions now processes 100% of its business online giving intermediaries and mortgage applicants a fast and efficient service. The technology behind BM Solutions market leading service is provided by Birmingham Midshires' internal IT team, Amatica, and HBOS plc's IT department.

The Financial Sector Technology awards are presented annually with categories covering Best use of IT in Retail Banking, Best Anti-Fraud Strategy, Compliance Project, Systems Integration, Best Outsourcing Partnership amongst others. The award ceremony takes place on the 30th March at London's prestigious Grosvenor House.
