£150,000 contract for self service kiosk solution

Amatica has been awarded a managed services contract to supply 18 interactive self-service kiosks for use by rural residents across Derbyshire.

The contract also involves integrating the kiosks with the councils' revenue and benefits systems, enabling the public to track progress of claims and payments and make service requests to the council.

Amatica has been awarded the contract by leading government software and services provider Serco on behalf of a consortium of four district councils in Derbyshire and Staffordshire.

The contract with Serco follows closely on successes for the supply of self-service kiosk and Internet services to Hackney council in London and Bank of Scotland International in Jersey.
