Following the success of Amatica's internet access kiosks at Bolton's Citizen's Advice Bureau (CAB), Crawley CAB has installed a similar solution for their own Citizens Advice and Connexions offices. The system offers controlled secure public access to pre-defined advisory web sites.

Amatica's solution uses secure browser software with a branded on-screen navigation bar. Combined with firewall, antivirus and content filter and parental control software, it gives fully secure public internet access. Due to limited space in both offices, the wall mounted, slimline Howie kiosk (pictured left) with stainless steel keyboard and trackball was selected.

The installation in the reception area at the CAB office uses the office's existing wireless network and the Connexions installation has its own Broadband line outside of the Council network.
