ASKBM.CO.UK rated No 1 by SiteMorse for second month running
Birmingham Midshires' consumer website ASKBM.CO.UK is rated the best performing website amongst the UK's largest banks and building societies. The survey is produced by SiteMorse using their automated website testing tools.
ASKBM.CO.UK heads the league table followed by Newcastle and Skipton. Trailing the league table for October's survey are Britannia and Portman.
The survey rates websites by the number of code errors, broken links, compliance with W3C accessibility guidelines and performance. None of the banking industry's big names managed a top 10 rating.
Only fifty percent of the websites analysed achieved above average accessibility ratings. ASKBM.CO.UK at 95.67% rating is amongst the highest of those rated.
