The Requirement

The Corporate Services division of Halifax Estate Agents (HEA CS) provides a range of property management services, including repairs, maintenance and marketing through to eventual sale by private treaty or auction.

Previously, details of properties and data relating to those properties were recorded on a series of complex spreadsheets.

Having seen a growth in the number of properties under management, HEA CS required the development of a new web based system that would streamline these processes and provide an audit trail to track changes more effectively and reduce risk.

The Solution

Amatica's agile development techniques enabled it to deliver a fully functional portal within an extremely short timescale. Using the latest web technology including .Net 3.5, MVC, ExtJS and AJAX, Amatica has created a dynamic, responsive application that delivers a great user experience.

The solution records detailed information about each property from initial instruction, preparation for marketing to estate agents, valuations and work by maintenance contractors, through to offers received and the price paid on the eventual sale or auction of the property.

An audit trail monitors and logs all user activity, providing accountability and giving HEA CS and its clients full confidence in the process.

Users are able to export data to merge with standard letters, instructions and reminders, while the analytics dashboard enables users to track the progress of sales against key performance indicators.

Supporting multiple concurrent users allows data to be updated quickly and enables HEA CS to share information with its clients instantaneously.
