Amatica has also ensured that accessibility has a high priority. The old site had several accessibility issues, such as lack of W3C compliance and colour contrasts, causing problems for partially sighted users.

To ensure the smooth delivery and to pre-empt implementation problems, Amatica liaised closely with project and development staff in HBOS IT department.

The Outcome

The new website, launched in July 2006, gives Bank of Scotland International the flexibility to manage online content themselves. The company's online collateral ties in with their new offline identity and links the site closely with BoSI clients' lifestyle choices and aspirations.

Importantly, the new site introduces clarity to the website structure and meets accessibility and usability criteria, helping to accurately position BoSI's online presence.
